This notice explains what personal data the Licky Lips Chinese Crested Kennel website collects, why, and what your rights are.

What data we process

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we process the name, e-mail address, subject and message you provide, and your IP address (for spam and abuse protection). We use this only to answer your message and keep it for as long as needed for the correspondence.

Cookies and similar technologies

We only use cookies that are essential for the site to work (session, form protection, language choice and your cookie choice). We do not use statistics or marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Google reCAPTCHA

To protect the contact form from spam we may use Google reCAPTCHA. It is loaded only if you accept all cookies; Google then receives technical data about your browser and visit under its own privacy policy. Without accepting it, the contact form is not available, but you can reach us by e-mail or on Facebook.

Facebook and Instagram content

The website can show our Facebook follower count and public reviews of our Facebook page, and photos shared with the hashtag #lickylipskennel on Facebook or Instagram (“Proud owners”). Photos appear only after our review and only the image is stored – we do not publish the poster's name or profile. If you would like a photo of yours removed, write to us and we will remove it promptly.

Legal basis

Answering your message: your request and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), (f)). Optional external services: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Photos on the “Proud owners” page: our legitimate interest and, where applicable, your consent given by sharing the photo with the hashtag.

Who receives the data

Your data is not sold or passed on for marketing. Our hosting provider and e-mail service process it on our behalf; Google (reCAPTCHA) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) act under their own policies where the above services are used.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@lickylipskennel.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu) or go to court.

Our Facebook page (https://facebook.com/lickylipskennel) is operated under Meta's terms; Meta's own privacy policy applies to what you do there.
